Platform Investments

Emerald Lake Backs CORE Transformers. Emerald Lake Capital Management, a middle-market private equity firm, has invested in CORE Transformers, a press release said. CORE provides new and reconditioned transformers and repair solutions to various energy markets, including data center, commercial, industrials, and renewable.

Sheridan Capital Completes Currier Plastics Investment. Sheridan Capital Partners announced this week it completed its investment in Currier Plastics. The company manufactures custom, precision plastic components for healthcare and life sciences end customers.

Lovell Minnick Acquires Merchant Industry. Lovell Minnick, a private equity firm focused on financial services, fintech, and business services, has acquired Merchant Industry, LLC. The fintech company provides payment acceptance solutions to small and medium-sized businesses.

KKR Joins Stirling Square in Backing Infobric. Stirling Square Capital Partners, a European private equity firm, announced that KKR will acquire a stake in Stirling Square portfolio company Infobric. The company offers software solutions to the construction sector. Stirling Square will retain a majority investment in the business.

Catchment Acquires Majority Stake in Fidus Systems. Fidus Systems, which provides electronic and embedded system design services for blue-chip companies, has received an investment from Catchment Capital, according to a press release. The middle-market private equity firm acquired a majority stake in the company.

Sunstone Backs Cybersecurity Business Clearwater. Sunstone Partners, a private equity firm focused on software and tech-enabled services, has invested in Clearwater, according to a recent announcement. The company provides cybersecurity and compliance solutions for the healthcare sector.

Artemis Acquires Millrock Technology. Industrial tech-focused private equity firm Artemis Capital Partners announced this week its acquisition of Millrock Technology. The company services pharmaceutical, biotech, and diagnostics customers, designing and manufacturing lyophilization instrumentation.

Susquehanna Backs Tint World. Susquehanna Growth Equity, a growth equity firm, has invested in Tint World Automotive Styling Centers, according to a recent press release. The backing will support Tint World’s franchise development and operational support capabilities.

Maple Park Invests in Prep Network. Maple Park Capital Partners, a private investment firm targeting the services sector, has invested in Prep Network. The company is a prep sports platform offering subscription content, live events, and collegiate athlete recruitment insights.

Palm Peak Acquires Domaille Engineering. Lower middle-market private equity firm Palm Peak Capital, which focuses on the industrial and services sectors, has announced its acquisition of Domaille Engineering. The company provides advanced equipment and accessories for manufacturers of fiber optic cables. The investment marks the second platform acquisition for Palm Peak since its founding.

H.I.G. Acquires France Workwear. H.I.G. Capital, an alternative investment firm, has acquired France Workwear from Rentokil Initial. H.I.G. said it plans to rebrand the textile service company, based in France, in early 2026.

Nuveen’s Impact Fund Acquires Ally Energy. Nuveen Private Equity has invested in Ally Energy Solutions via its Nuveen Climate Inclusion Fund II, according to a recent announcement. Ally Energy is an energy solutions provider for commercial and industrial customers in the U.S. The investment is part of Nuveen’s Climate Inclusion Strategy.

INVISION, PINOVA Carve out Utimaco’s Lawful Interception Business. Investment firms INVISION and Germany-based PINOVA have carved out the lawful interception business of Utimaco, Utimaco TS (UTS). The company supplies regulatory solutions to telecom operators, including offering a Lawful Interception Management System to support electronic surveillance compliance for telcos.

Eagle Merchant Acquires Guidewell Education, Adds Reach Cambridge. Eagle Merchant Partners announced a growth investment in Guidewell Education, a global education company offering college counseling, test preparation, and academic mentorship. In addition to the acquisition, Eagle Merchant also announced its first add-on acquisition to the platform, investing in Reach Cambridge, a U.K.-based summer camp and academic enrichment provider.

Comvest’s Bland Landscaping Acquires C.S.S. Landscaping. Bland Landscaping, a provider of commercial landscaping services operating in the Southeast, has acquired C.S.S. Landscaping, a Florida-based landscaping services provider. Bland is a portfolio company of middle-market private equity firm Comvest Private Equity.

Strategics

Ryan Makes Strategic Investment in Dhruva Advisors. Tax services and software provider Ryan announced this week it has entered into a joint venture with India-based tax advisory firm Dhruva Advisors. As part of the agreement, Ryan is making a strategic investment in Dhruva, acquiring a majority stake in the company to expand into India.

Kennedy Lewis Acquires Remaining Equity in Generate. Kennedy Lewis Investment Management, an alternative investment manager, announced this week it has acquired the rest of Generate Advisors, a CLO platform. Kennedy Lewis had already acquired a majority stake in Generate. Acquiring the remaining equity in Generate has allowed Kennedy Lewis to rebrand the platform as Kennedy Lewis Loan Management. Kennedy Lewis acquired the remaining stake in the business from York Capital Management.

Allworth Acquires Shorepoint Capital Partners. Registered investment advisor (RIA) Allworth Financial announced its acquisition of Shorepoint Capital Partners, a Massachusetts-based RIA. The investment expands Allworth’s presence in Boston. Shorepoint has about $850 million in assets under management.

Exits

Resurgens Technology Exits Verity to Strategic.  Resurgens Technology Partners, a software-focused private equity firm, announced the sale of portfolio company Verity. The company provides research management software, data, and analytics to institutional investors. TMX Group acquired the business.

Fundraising

Hughes & Company Announces Merger, Fundraising. Healthcare technology investment firm Hughes & Company announced that healthcare data and supply chain companies Curvo and Broadjump are merging. The businesses will combine their capabilities that support hospitals and health systems in their purchasing decisions. Hughes & Company also announced this week the close of its second private equity fund with $260 million in capital commitments.
