FFL Backs Waylin Partners. FFL Partners invested in Waylin Partners, an Office of the CFO consulting firm serving private equity-backed companies. Waylin provides finance, accounting, transaction support, performance improvement, and operational consulting services to PE sponsor-backed businesses.

Chimney Rock Invests in Russell Equipment. Chimney Rock Equity Partners invested in Russell Equipment, a distributor and service provider of compressed air systems, pumps, blowers, and related industrial equipment. Russell serves manufacturing and industrial customers through equipment sales, maintenance, repair, and technical support services.

Niobrara Backs MSP Corp. U.S.-based Niobrara Capital, a private equity firm focused on B2B technology and tech-enabled services, announced it acquired MSP Corp. The company is a Canadian managed IT services platform serving small and midsize businesses with managed IT, cybersecurity, data compliance, and AI-related services.

Main Capital to Acquire Watermark Insights. Main Capital Partners announced its intent to acquire Watermark Insights, a provider of institutional effectiveness software for colleges and universities. Watermark’s Educational Impact Suite supports accreditation, faculty development, compliance, and student-success initiatives to higher education institutions across North America.

L Catterton Invests in Nandhana Foods. L Catterton agreed to invest in Nandhana Foods, a leading South Indian restaurant operator known for its Andhra and Karnataka cuisine brands. The company plans to expand its restaurant footprint, strengthen operations, and accelerate growth in India’s rapidly growing food-service market.

Neuberger, KKR Join New Mountain for Stake in Datavant.
Funds managed by Neuberger and KKR agreed to acquire a minority stake in Datavant alongside existing owner New Mountain Capital, which will retain its control stake in the company. Datavant operates a healthcare data exchange to connect providers, payers, life sciences companies, government agencies, and analytics organizations.

SK Capital’s Precera Medical Acquires AMS. Precera Medical, backed by SK Capital Partners, has acquired Additive Metal Services (AMS). AMS provides precision additive manufacturing solutions utilizing metal 3D printing technologies. The acquisition creates an integrated platform combining metal injection molding and additive manufacturing capabilities for medical device, aerospace, defense, and industrial end markets.

TSCP’s Allyant Acquires Braille Works. Allyant, a provider of accessibility and compliance solutions backed by Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), acquired Braille Works. The company specializes in alternative-format communications, including braille, large print, audio, and accessible digital documents. The acquisition strengthens Allyant’s ability to help organizations meet accessibility requirements and serve people with disabilities.

Grovecourt’s TMC Acquires WBQ Engineering. TMC, a transportation engineering traffic and planning firm sponsored by Grovecourt Capital Partners, acquired WBQ Engineering. The company provides roadway design, transportation planning, traffic engineering, and related infrastructure services.

Gemspring’s TRG Adds Vista Technology Support. TRG, a global managed services provider backed by Gemspring Capital, acquired Vista Technology Support. Vista provides field services, help desk support, and IT procurement services for customers in the retail, hospitality, leisure, and healthcare sectors.

Carlyle’s Avenrock Acquires Parallax Energy. Avenrock Energy, a newly formed Canadian energy company backed by Carlyle, agreed to acquire Parallax Energy Operating from Carnelian Energy Capital. Parallax operates exploration and production assets in Alberta’s East Shale Duvernay.

Exits

Excelsior Energy Capital Exits Faraday, Skyhawk. Excelsior Energy Capital completed the sale of its Faraday Solar and Skyhawk Solar projects to Enel, a multinational power company. The utility-scale solar facilities were developed through Excelsior’s renewable energy platform.

Paceline Equity Exits Kelso Industries. Paceline Equity Partners fully exited its investment in Kelso Industries, a building services platform providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related facility services. During Paceline’s ownership, Kelso completed numerous acquisitions and expanded its geographic footprint, creating a scaled platform serving commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.

Strategics

Forthlane Acquires June Inc. Forthlane Partners, an outsourced chief investment office (OCIO) serving affluent families, foundations, and family offices, acquired June Inc., an OCIO advisory firm. The combination increases Forthlane’s assets under advisement to approximately $2 billion and expands its capabilities serving ultra-high-net-worth clients.
