Transactions across hospice care, pharmacy care management, and other healthcare niches signal a return to dealmaking in the space

Montagu, Kohlberg Carve out Teleflex Medical OEM. Middle-market private equity firms Montagu and Kohlberg announced this week a carve-out transaction that sees the firms acquiring the Medical OEM unit of Teleflex Incorporated. The $1.5 billion deal takes Teleflex Medical OEM private.
SEVA Growth Invests in Pronto. SEVA Growth, a growth equity firm focused on technology-enabled businesses, has invested in Pronto. The company is a mobile-first team communications platform for frontline employers in the higher education space.
WindRose Health Acquires Stellus Rx. WindRose Health Investors, a private equity firm focused on the healthcare space, has acquired Stellus Rx, according to a recent press release. The strategic investment in the pharmacy care management platform will support the company’s expansion of clinical and operational capabilities.
Eagle Merchant Invests in Atlantic Pipe Services. Eagle Merchant Partners has announced an investment in Atlantic Pipe Services, a provider of inspection, cleaning, and rehabilitation services for stormwater and wastewater infrastructure. The company operates in Florida, and with support from Eagle Merchant, will expand its operations geographically.
URS Acquires 40% Stake in Yellow Visa. UAE-based private equity firm URS has acquired a 40% stake in Washington, D.C.-based law firm Yellow Visa, according to an announcement this week. Yellow Visa specializes in immigration, visa, and cross-border mobility matters.
Great Point Takes Majority Stake in Lenis Group. Great Point Partners, a healthcare-focused private investment firm, has acquired a majority stake in Lenis Group. The Slovenia-based company is a regional commercialization and distribution partner for prescription medicines across Central and Eastern Europe.
Oak Hill Acquires Hunter Communications. Oak Hill Capital, a middle-market private equity firm, has announced it entered into an agreement to acquire Hunter Communications. The company is Oregon’s largest privately owned fiber optic internet provider.
Kingswood Capital to Carve out Safran Passenger Innovations. Kingswood Capital Management announced it entered into an agreement to carve out Safran Passenger Innovations (SPI) from Safran, an aviation, defense, and space high-tech company. SPI provides in-flight entertainment and connectivity solutions for airlines and airplane manufacturers.
Advent, Corvex Complete Heidrick & Struggles Take-Private Deal. Leadership advisory and talent solutions firm Heidrick & Struggles International announced this week that it is now a privately held company. A consortium of investors led by Advent International and Corvex Private Equity led the take-private transaction, according to a press release.

Arlington Capital’s TRP Infrastructure Acquires Highway Barricades. TRP Infrastructure Services, a provider of roadway pavement marking and traffic control solutions, has acquired Highway Barricades & Services. The investment expands TRP’s operations across Texas and the Southeast, an announcement noted. TRP is a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners, a private investment firm focused on government-regulated industries.
Revelstoke’s The Care Team Acquires Traditions Health Assets. The Care Team, a hospice provider backed by healthcare-focused private equity firm Revelstoke Capital Partners, has acquired assets of hospice provider Traditions Health. The Care Team acquired certain hospice and palliative care operations from the company, according to a press release.
Soundcore’s TreeServe Acquires Schneider Tree Care. Soundcore Capital Partners-backed TreeServe has acquired Schneider Tree Care, according to a recent announcement. TreeServe is a tree care services provider, while Schneider offers residential and commercial tree care, plant healthcare, and mulch services.
Unity Partners’ Prosperity Adds FF&F. Unity Partners-backed Prosperity Partners, a tax and accounting business based in Chicago, has acquired Farkouh, Furman & Faccio (FF&F). The New York-based provider of tax, attest, accounting, and business consulting services has been merged with Prosperity.
Gryphon’s Jensen Hughes Acquires Safety Management Services. Fire and life safety solutions provider Jensen Hughes has acquired Safety Management Services, according to a recent announcement. Jensen Hughes is backed by Gryphon Investors.
TSCP’s PestCo Acquires Southeast Exterminating. PestCo, a provider of pest control services to residential and commercial customers, has acquired Southwest Exterminating. PestCo is backed by Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP).
Trivest’s OpenRoad Adds Frank’s Collision Repair. Trivest Partners announced this week that its collision repair platform OpenRoad has added Frank’s Collision Repair. The investment adds nine locations to the auto repair platform, an announcement sent to Middle Market Growth noted.
The Riverside Company’s EverSmith Acquires 1-Tom-Plumber. EverSmith Brands, a B2B-focused platform of franchised concepts backed by The Riverside Company, has acquired 1-Tom-Plumber. The company is a franchisor of emergency plumbing and drain cleaning services.
Eagle Merchant’s Aligned Fitness Strikes Four Add-ons. Aligned Fitness, a portfolio company of Eagle Merchant Partners, has completed four add-on acquisitions that add 13 Pilates studios to its operations. The investment expands the company’s Club Pilates footprint across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

ProAmpac Carves out TC Transcontinental Packaging. ProAmpac, a flexible packaging and material science company, has acquired the packaging unit of TC Transcontinental, TC Transcontinental Packaging. The transaction, which takes the business private, was reached for $1.51 billion and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026.
Exits
Energy Capital Partners Exits Symmetry Energy to Strategic Buyer. NextEra Energy Resources, an energy infrastructure developer, has acquired Symmetry Energy Solutions from Energy Capital Partners, an energy transition infrastructure investment firm. Symmetry Energy will bring complementary capabilities to NextEra as AI strengthens demand for energy infrastructure, the company said in an announcement.
Angeles Equity Exits Xanitos to Bessemer. Angeles Equity Partners, a private investment firm focused on niche manufacturing and industrials, has exited Xanitos, a provider of healthcare environmental services. Bessemer Investors acquired the company, according to a press release.
