Apollo Acquires Minority Stake in Apex. Apollo, a global alternative asset manager, has acquired a minority stake in Apex Service Partners. Apex is a nationwide provider of residential home services, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.

One Equity Acquires Leviat. Middle-market private equity firm One Equity Partners announced this week its acquisition of Leviat. The Netherlands-based company provides engineered solutions for the construction and industrial spaces.

J.C. Flowers Carves out Monte Paschi Banque. Private investment firm J.C. Flowers & Co., which focuses on the global financial services sector, has acquired Monte Paschi Banque, a French bank. The company was formerly the French subsidiary of Monte dei Paschi di Siena, an Italian bank.

Sheridan Capital Backs Tres Health. Sheridan Capital Partners has invested in Tres Health, an alternative health insurance and technology company. Tres specializes in employer-facing insurance for small- and medium-sized businesses.

Littlejohn Acquires Milrose Consultants. Private investment firm Littlejohn & Co. announced this week its acquisition of Milrose Consultants, a consulting, engineering, and architecture services provider. The firm acquired the company from Southfield Capital.

Hidden River Acquires Northstar Senior Living.  Hidden River Strategic Capital announced its investment in Northstar Senior Living. The transaction supports Northstar’s acquisition of Alta Senior Living. The combined entity will operate as Northstar Senior Living.

Bregal’s Juniper Landscaping Acquires Hilton Head. Bregal Partners-sponsored Juniper Landscaping has acquired Hilton Head Landscapes, according to a recent announcement. The add-on acquisition expands Juniper’s footprint across coastal South Carolina.

Oridian Capital Launches AnchorPoint Foundations Platform. Oridian Capital, formerly known as HCI Equity Partners, has launched the AnchorPoint Foundations platform. The company is a foundation repair and waterproofing platform formed through the combination of brands Foundation Repair Services, B.A.M. Basements and Masons, Cornerstone Foundation Repair and Waterproofing, Champion Waterproofing, and Eden Structural Solutions.

Amulet Capital- and BPOC-backed Alliance Merges with Atlas. Alliance Clinical Network, backed by Amulet Capital and BPOC, is merging with Atlas Clinical Research. Alliance and Atlas provide clinical research solutions and operate clinical research sites.

Eagle Merchant’s Aligned Fitness Expands. Aligned Fitness Holdings, a Club Pilates operator backed by Eagle Merchant Partners, has acquired six additional Club Pilates studios. The acquisitions include studios that had been independently owned.

Allied Industrial’s Liberty Waste Acquires M&M. Liberty Waste solutions has acquired M&M Garbage Disposal, a press release said this week. Liberty Waste is backed by Allied Industrial Partners.

Strategics

Ghai Acquires Portion of MRG’s Taco Bell Portfolio. Ghai Restaurant Group, which is family owned, has acquired a portion of the Taco Bell restaurant portfolio of Mas Restaurant Group, which is backed by Bessemer Investors. Mas, a franchisee that owns 123 locations, sold 44 of its Houston locations to Ghai.

26North Re Acquires Independent Insurance Group. 26North Reinsurance Holding Company (26North Re), part of 26North Partners LP, reached an agreement to acquire Independent Insurance Group, according to a recent press release. Independent operates Independent Life Insurance Company. The acquisition marks 26North Re’s entrance into the U.S. insurance market.

Winston & Strawn, Taylor Wessing Combine. Law firms Winston & Strawn and Taylor Wessing’s U.K. operations have merged, forming Winston Taylor, according to a recent announcement. The newly created transatlantic law firm encompasses more than 1,400 lawyers.

Harbor Acquires CE Global Partners. Harbor, a professional and technology services provider to the legal sector, has acquired CE Global Partners, an HR transformation, payroll, and managed services provider. The acquisition expands Harbor into the U.K. and supports law firms’ increasing demand for human capital management solutions, a press release noted.

Exits

WindRose Health Exits Altruix to Frazier. Private equity firm WindRose Health Investors has completed the sale of Altruix to Frazier Healthcare Partners, a recent press release said. Altruix is a behavioral health pharmacy platform. WindRose first invested in the business in 2021.

Vector Capital Exits IPValue. Vector Capital Management, a private equity firm focused on technology businesses, has exited IPValue Management Group. The IP commercialization provider was acquired by Fortress Investment Group. Vector Capital first invested in IPValue more than 10 years ago.

Nautic Partners Exits HES Facilities. Nautic Partners has completed its sale of HES Facilities Management, a provider of janitorial, facilities management, and groundskeeping services. The company’s customers include education institutions and commercial clients. HES was acquired by GI Partners.

Turnspire Exits USG Water Solutions. Turnspire Capital Partners announced this week that has exited USG Water Solutions, a provider of water asset management for municipal and private water customers. Warren Equity Partners acquired the business, according to an announcement provided to ACG.

Fundraising

Wingman Growth Raises $215 Million for Software Investments. Investment firm Wingman Growth Partners, which targets software, data, and financial technology investments, has closed its first fund. Wingman Growth Partners Fund I secured $215 million in capital commitments, surpassing its $150 million target.

Revelstoke Debuts Frontier AI Solution. Private equity firm Revelstoke Capital Partners announced this week the launch of Revelstoke Frontier. The solution aims to accelerate and integrate AI across the firm and its portfolio of businesses, which spans healthcare services, healthcare technology, and health and wellness companies.
