Natasha Granholm of PwC on the GOP Tax Bill

In this episode of the Middle Market Growth Conversations podcast, Natasha Granholm, a partner with PwC who works with private equity clients, spoke with MMG Associate Editor Kathryn Mulligan about provisions she’s watching as the GOP tax reform bill moves through Congress.

Granholm discussed the House and Senate tax reform bills as they stood on Nov. 15, when the episode was recorded, including considerations for investors and portfolio companies with foreign operations, carried interest and interest deductibility, to name a few.

She also described the innovation that she’s seeing happening in the tax space, a topic covered in PwC’s “Asset Management 2025 and Beyond” report. Robotics, machine learning and data analytics are among the technologies making an impact on organizations’ tax functions.
