M&A Advisor Recognizes ACG NY Leader Blumenfeld for Industry Contributions

Robert Blumenfeld, the leader of the Association for Corporate Growth’s New York chapter, was named the inaugural recipient of an award by The M&A Advisor, a media group serving finance and turnaround professionals. Blumenfeld was recognized for his contributions to the mergers and acquisitions industry.

Known to ACG members as Bobby, Blumenfeld is the first to receive the Thomas Farrell Memorial Award, established in honor of a former investment banking executive who passed away last year after receiving The M&A Advisor’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Blumenfeld serves as the executive director of ACG New York, one of ACG’s largest chapters, and is a founding director of ACG Cares, which assists college students from diverse social and economic backgrounds in finding their first jobs in finance after graduation.

“Throughout his dealmaking career and in his contribution to the ACG New York Chapter, Bobby has tirelessly been a champion for the advancement of our industry and the members of it,” said David Fergusson, president and CEO of The M&A Advisor.

The organization will present Blumenfeld with the award at the 16th Annual M&A Advisor Awards Gala at the Metropolitan Club in New York City on Nov. 13.
