ACG Fall 2024 Events Preview
The autumn calendar is filled with opportunities to connect across ACG
With autumn around the corner, the leaves are starting to fall—but deal activity isn’t.
According to GF Data’s Q2 M&A report, transaction activity is ticking upward just in time for one of the Association for Corporate Growth’s busiest event seasons. As a slew of new businesses come to market, they’ll generate new opportunities for buyers, sellers and M&A partners. ACG events are where those relationships are built, so make sure you’re on the attendee roster.

Meeting Marketplaces
The next several months are full of conferences across North America designed to connect M&A professionals.
In the Southeast, ACG Atlanta’s DealSource on Sept. 24, ACG Richmond’s Capital Conference on Sept. 25 and the Florida ACG Capital Connection on Nov. 13-15 will all feature dedicated time for pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings as part of their programs.
Farther up the East Coast, ACG Philadelphia will host its M&A East conference on Sept. 30-Oct. 1, which includes one-on-one DealSource meetings on both days.
ACG New York is bringing back Middle Market Week, which spans Nov. 4-8. The weeklong agenda includes dedicated time for one-on-one meetings on Nov. 7, ahead of the 20th Annual Wine Tasting Gala.
Events in the Midwest and Canada are not to be missed, either, with opportunities to connect one-on-one with other attendees in today’s rapidly improving M&A market. ACG Chicago will host its Midwest Capital Connection on Oct. 29-30, and ACG Toronto will present Capital Connection on Nov. 11-12.
Vertical Focus
Those seeking events centered on a particular industry vertical will have plenty to choose from this season.
Two aerospace and defense-focused conferences are coming up—the first on Sept. 26 in Los Angeles and another a week later on Oct. 1-3 in West Point, New York.
Then, in the heart of one of the world’s most dynamic tech hubs, ACG Silicon Valley will host attendees for its M&A Tech Connect on Oct. 2, offering a chance to engage with powerhouse C-suite leaders shaping the future of the technology sector.
On Oct. 21-22, tech will be front and center again, this time in the form of agriculture technology, when ACG St. Louis hosts its AgTech Conference.
If energy and industrials are more your speed, check out ACG Houston’s Industrials & Energy Uncorked event on Oct. 9 to sip wine alongside M&A, fundraising, corporate growth and strategic development professionals in the sector.

To bring together women within M&A, three ACG chapters in California will jointly host the Women of ACG Regional Fall Conference at Terranea Resort on Oct. 23, featuring panel discussions, breakout sessions and networking opportunities. Simultaneously, the ACG Southeast Region Women’s Forum hosted in Raleigh, North Carolina, will offer workshops, speed networking, keynote speakers and more on Oct. 23-24.
Dealmakers with a passion for nature will have a great reason to network outside on Oct. 10-12, when ACG Utah and ACG Denver jointly host their Adventure Summit. The event promises to “redefine business connections by blending adrenaline-pumping adventures with high-caliber dealmaking.”
