Platform Investments
Wynnchurch Takes Luxfer Private. Wynnchurch Capital agreed to acquire Luxfer Holdings in an all-cash take-private transaction valued at approximately $463 million. Luxfer manufactures high-performance materials, engineered components, and high-pressure gas containment products used across industrial, defense, healthcare, and transportation markets.
SVP Acquires Majority Stake in VPS. Strategic Value Partners (SVP) agreed to acquire a majority stake in VPS Group, a provider of property security, inspection, and management services for vacant and occupied properties. VPS serves commercial real estate owners, lenders, and asset managers.

Oaktree’s GA Group Acquires Trampe Settles. GA Group, a financial advisory, valuation, asset disposition, and investment banking firm majority-owned by Oaktree Capital Management, acquired Trampe Settles, a family law litigation support firm. Trampe Settles provides expert witness, business valuation, forensic accounting, and asset-tracing services in divorce and family law matters.
Back Nine’s Links Car Wash Acquires Woodie’s. Links Car Wash, through parent company Back Nine Equity, agreed to acquire Woodie’s Wash Shack, a fast-growing express car wash operator in the Southeast. The combination will create a 50-location express car wash platform that operates under the Woodie’s brand.
PE-Backed Corient Acquires Seven Bridges Advisors. Corient, a national wealth management firm backed by private equity investors including Stone Point Capital and Madison Dearborn Partners, added Seven Bridges Advisors to its platform. Seven Bridges is a New York-based registered investment advisor serving high-net-worth individuals and families.
Strategics
InterVest Capital Acquires SMB Lender Kapitus. Alternative investment firm InterVest Capital Partners acquired Kapitus, a provider of alternative financing solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. Kapitus offers working capital, revenue-based financing, and other lending products designed to help businesses fund growth and operations.
S&P Global Takes Majority Stake in Nigeria’s Agusto. S&P Global agreed to acquire a majority stake in Agusto & Company Limited, a Nigeria-based credit ratings, research, and risk advisory firm. Agusto provides credit ratings and analytical services across African debt markets, and the investment expands S&P Global’s ratings presence and capabilities across the continent.
PGIM Acquires Remaining Stake in Deerpath Capital. PGIM, Prudential Financial’s global asset management business, agreed to acquire the remaining ownership interest in Deerpath Capital Management, a private credit investment manager focused on lending to lower middle-market companies. PGIM was already an investor in Deerpath and the transaction gives it full ownership of the private credit platform.
Exits
Industrial Growth Exits Prince & Izant. Prince & Izant (P&I), which manufactures and distributes alloys, precious metals, and related materials used in aerospace and other industrial applications, has been acquired by publicly listed TransDigm Group. TransDigm acquired the company from its previous sponsor Industrial Growth Partners. The transaction was valued at more than $1 billion.
Fundraising
LLCP Raises $2 Billion for Lower Middle-Market Fund. Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) closed LLCP Lower Middle Market IV with $2.0 billion in commitments, exceeding its $1.7 billion target. The oversubscribed fund will pursue LLCP’s structured private equity strategy, investing in lower middle-market businesses across business services, franchising, education and training, and engineered products and manufacturing.
