Clearlake Capital to Take Dun & Bradstreet Private. Investment firm Clearlake Capital has announced it will acquire business decisioning data and analytics provider Dun & Bradstreet, taking the firm private in a $7.7 billion deal. The transaction includes an equity value of $4.1 billion and includes outstanding debt. Shareholders will receive $9.15 in cash per share.

Silver Lake Acquires Endeavor Group in Take-Private. Global sports and entertainment company Endeavor Group Holdings, Inc. has been acquired by Silver Lake, a technology investment firm, according to a recent press release. The deal takes Endeavor private; the company will retain its controlling ownership in publicly traded TKO Group Holdings.

Bluespring Acquires Charter Capital Management. Bluespring Wealth Partners has announced its acquisition of Charter Capital Management, a wealth management and financial advisory firm that oversees $400 million in assets under management. Bluespring is an acquirer of RIAs and hybrid wealth management firms.

Nonantum Capital Acquires MSI Express. Contract manufacturing and packaging solution provider MSI Express, which services the food and beverage space, has been acquired by middle-market private equity firm Nonantum Capital Partners, according to a recent press release. Nonantum pointed to its experience in the food and beverage packing space as beneficial to the deal.

Agellus Capital Adds Orcus to Bluejack Fire & Life Safety. Agellus Capital has completed its acquisition of Orcus Fire & Risk. A press release said the business will be combined into existing portfolio company Bluejack Fire & Life Safety to expand its fire and life safety service offerings.

RF’s ProSite Adds Potter’s Potties. RF Investment Partners has announced the acquisition of Potter’s Potties by portfolio company ProSite Services. The add-on expands ProSite’s existing portable sanitation services operating in Northern Virginia across more of the Southeast.

Strategics

Infinite Reality Acquires Napster for $207 Million. Tech startup Infinite Reality has acquired music streaming service Napster for $207 million, reports said this week. Infinite Reality plans to transform the company into a social music platform.

Exits

Yahoo Exits TechCrunch. Yahoo is selling TechCrunch to media investment firm Regent, according to a recent announcement. The exit follows the acquisition of various media assets, including Yahoo and TechCrunch, by Apollo Global Management in 2021; Apollo subsequently combined those assets under the Yahoo brand. Regent’s investment in the publication follows its own recent acquisition of Foundry, the partner company of PCWorld, Macworld, InfoWorld and other publications.

Dollar Tree Exits Family Dollar to PE Backers. A group of private equity investors is set to acquire Family Dollar from Dollar Tree for about $1 billion, Reuters reported this week. The take-private deal follows a yearlong search for a buyer for the company after Dollar Tree acquired it in 2015 for $9 billion.

Falfurrias Raises $1.35 Billion for Fund VI. Falfurrias Management Partners has announced the close of Fund VI, securing $1.35 billion in capital commitments. The middle-market private equity fund, Falfurrias Capital Partners VI, complements the firm’s growth buyout fund Falfurrias Growth Partners, which focuses on software and business services investments.
