ACG Pittsburgh closed out 2012 with one of the region’s largest holiday gatherings, held at historic Heinz Hall, the cornerstone of the city’s vibrant downtown Cultural District.
Joining the chapter for the annual get-together were members and friends from four other prominent Pittsburgh business associations: the Turnaround Management Association, the Financial Industries Network, Financial Executives International and the National Association of Corporate Directors, Three Rivers Chapter. The event was an evening of cocktails, conversation, entertainment and charitable giving, which has become central to the celebration in the past few years. Attendees raised more than $2,000 through raffle ticket sales for Flashes of Hope, a nonprofit that partners with professional photographers to take portraits of children fighting cancer.
“Everything that evening was wonderful, but for me the highlight was supporting such a wonderful organization that benefits sick children and their families, especially during the holidays,” said Kelly Szejko, ACG Pittsburgh president.
