The Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG) President and CEO Gary A. LaBranche, issued the following statement in response to President Obama’s 2015 State of the Union Address to the American people:
“Middle-market companies are crucial to achieve President Obama’s goals of economic growth and job creation. As the “Voice of the middle market” ACG will continue to bring to Washington the message that a one size fits all approach to legislation and regulation simply does not work for the middle market.
“The middle market is home to millions of middle class jobs. As middle-market companies grow, so will middle class jobs. Policies that support and reward investment in the middle market will help grow both companies and jobs. ACG stands ready to work with Congress and the President to achieve both objectives.”
ACG is an organization focused on driving middle-market growth. ACG’s 14,500 members include professionals from private equity firms, corporations and lenders that invest in middle-market companies, as well as from law, accounting, investment banking and other firms that provide advisory services.
